November Wrap-up
November was a pretty good month for us. I’ve missed the wrap-ups for a few months (sorry!), so here are how things are looking lately.
- 198 thousand blogs were created.
- 207 thousand new users joined.
- 1.34 million file uploads.
- 2.5 million posts and 996 thousand new pages.
- 3.6 million comments.
- 20 million spam comments blocked.
- 2.9 million logins.
- 416 million pageviews on WordPress.com, and another 169 million on self-hosted blogs. (585 million pageviews total.)
- 554,812 active blogs in November, where “active” means they got a human pageview.

Using the stats above, each wordpress blog post gets an average of around 1.44 comments.
Ours gets 5.5something comments per post! yay… i feel special.

It would be wonderful to be able to see which posts, over the life of the blog, have been the best read. You’ve been able to do stats by day, week and month – stats by post would be a very cool addition.
