New Theme: zBench
Today’s new, feature-packed Theme has a really polished design that can give your blog a more technical look—without appearing too cold. I think you’ll really like it. Let’s take a look at zBench.

The zBench Theme in action
zBench has a lot of great features that make personalizing your blog a snap. Features like custom background images and colors, a custom header image, bonus widget areas in your site footer, and custom menus with beautiful drop-down effects. My favorite feature is probably the alternate layouts available in Appearance → Theme Options. With one-click you can have your site sporting multiple sidebars in several different configurations!

The multiple layouts available with zBench
Designed by the enigmatically named zwwooooo, zBench is available now for WordPress.com users and, for self-hosted WordPress.org sites, from the WordPress.org Themes Directory.

Not entirely wowed. This needs more color and more…dimensions as far as themes go!
Don’t be afraid of color!!!

Really nice theme. I will be using this theme for my site. It’s a simple and precise theme.

It’s really nice theme, but how can I upgrade from one theme to another without spending hours of remaking all the stuff?

How you can I apply a theme?

Very nice and clean. Thanks!

You know, all of these new themes always look really nice to me. So I usually try them out, and then decide that my regular old Coraline theme is better suited for me.

This looks familiar but I still like it.

I don’t like this.

Totally awesome looking, keep it up. *Thumbs up*

I’m really happy that new themes are being added all the time. I’m of course looking for that perfect one for me (that i can customize) but I am thoroughly impressed by the continued additions. Each time they get better, cleaner and more refined. Even though this is not the one for me I am certainly sure we will be seeing it out there a lot.

Wow, I am using this theme for a few days… and now I am looking at it and I am noticing it is a new theme. I’m very impressed by this theme, because it has everything I was seeking for. It works great and is easy to handle! Thanks for this really useful theme!

Classic theme. Good look.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:36 am
No offense, but this theme looks like all the other so-called “new themes”.

Can’t you do more colorful themes?
Most of your themes are simple and technical. I want more themes like Koi!

Can you find a video based theme? There lots of photo based themes, but I’m a film maker and need that. Sorry to sound demanding. lol.

Wow!I like it. This is my style.

If you could add something like a flash player or image show above the post body, it would be very attractive.

Nice, but too many different fonts on one site. Serif + non-serif + condensed fonts don’t really match. Without these different fonts I would have a look at it…

Won’t be using this one, but I like the simple design and how there are customization options, thank you for the new option.
I would really love a theme similar to Connections or MistyLook.

Joy. Another boring, monotone theme. I like deep jewel tones such as motion, the theme I use. When an entire theme is colorful, I’ll like the “Introducing [theme]“.

Hi, All the themes that you guys put out are great, but please change the tree picture, it gives the feeling of looking at the same theme over and over again.

WordPress team, what we need urgently is a real theme for photoblog, something like duotone but whith the choice of the background color, not that automatic ugly thing…
