New Theme: Choco
Say hello to our newest theme, Choco. If I had to sum this theme up in just one word, it’d be stylish.
With dark colors and stitched borders Choco will give your site a classy, contemporary feel. It is well-suited for any site but works especially well for journal-style blogs: the traditional two-column layout with a right sidebar frames your stories in familiar—yet beautiful—style.

I do like the many additions to your family of themes. This one shows more imagination is being used to develop more diverse ways of expressing oneself. It is a pleasure to receive these as well as read the many positive responses. It would be interesting to know how new themes are used by bloggers… is there a way to search by theme to see how one is utilized?

Yes, see our Theme Showcase: http://theme.wordpress.com/. For new themes like this one we don’t have links to sites where the theme is in use, but you can see it for most of our more recent themes.

Sorry if I’m repeating anyone, but the first thing I noticed is that there’s no year in the dateline for each post. Big problem in blogs spanning several years. Otherwise, I think the theme is beautiful.

This is frickin’ delicious!
This is definitely one of the better free themes available. I do feel though, that more could’ve been done with the typography. I’m primarily thinking custom fonts and mutiple text columns here, but most people will be able to implement that with a little help from Google.
Something seems off about the tags though. Like they’ve been stretched or something, but maybe that’s just me.
All in all, it’s really a nice theme

Finally, one good theme! Ever since I’ve joined WordPress.com (December 2010), I’ve been “dying” to see something such as this. Bluntly put, I was FED UP of your “minimalist” themes. Thanks a ton for sending in this one.

Great work. I switched. One of the main reasons I did so without thinking is that all my photos were automatically resized for this style, and not just “cut off” …great work on that one. It’s a major plus for those with a lot of posts that would need to go back and re-edit. I likey!!!

I have changed my blog theme from Mistylook to Choco, fits like a glove and looking good on my food and travel blog. Though it has no custom header but still I am loving it.

Wow! I absolutely, absolutely love this theme and am presently using it for my blog. The plus is, it has an Archive page readily available and I’m using that too. I love everything about it, especially the choco-licious colours! I only wish that the Comment section can be similar to Fusion Theme because currently the comments display is too plain, without gravatars and not topic-compartmentalised, if I may say. Nevertheless, thank you, WordPress!

It’s interesting that this theme’s elements look EXACTLY like Tumblr’s locoRoto theme (http://www.tumblr.com/theme/12364), which I’ve been using for months.
