New Theme: Manifest
When we think about the very basic fundamentals of blogging and expressing ideas we find the clear practice of writing. Today we are launching a new theme which tries to reflect precisely on that. Manifest is a wonderful theme for writers.
This is a theme that presents your creations in an elegant and powerfully clean way, offering your readers an intimate and direct experience with your thoughts.
With content being the clear focus in Manifest, you can create different types of posts by choosing appropriate post formats. You can create image posts, link posts, asides, and Manifest will present them in the same neat, clutter free way it shows your regular text posts. You can even add a subtle header image to bring a personal touch to the design.
The Manifest Theme was designed by Jim Barraud. Go and learn more about it on the theme showcase, or activate it right away at Appearance → Themes. And once you are done, just start posting.

As soon this theme was released I immediately changed to Manifest. Clean, Classy, Elegant and enhances what’s important, my texts and my pictures.
Thank you!
PS: My only complaint is the name itself Manifest. It’s a too bold and rough name for me. (But I haven’t any better name myself…)

Very well said about the ideal qualities this theme has for writers focused on writing. I’ve been waiting for a theme like this for quite some time. There’s a site called fictionaut that I tried to get in on the beta for JUST to have such a theme to scribble my thoughts on. They’re stingy, and uncommunicative. I won’t go there again, so they’ve lost one very serious writer. I am, as a result, thankful for WordPress giving me a theme in the same vein.
Well done.

Perfect!

This is the kind of elegant simplicity I love, especially when the content is visual art. The typography is also understated and beautiful – and the ability to choose background color makes it really adaptable.
